			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In 1948 the first Porsche 356 was introduced as a Coupé and a Cabriolet version.</p>
<p>A contract with the Volkswagen factory ensured that cooperation and service was handeld via the VW Dealer network. The model ran rom 1948 until 1965.</p>
<p>The international sportscar carrier of the 356 took off after its win in the 24-hours of LeMans.</p>
<p>Until 1951 the body was made of Aluminium.</p>
<p>The image below is the 1956 version. This was the final version of the 1300 and 1600 and S-versions as of 1951.</p>
